The Collection of Sidney Rothberg, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This lot is located in Philadelphia.

Condition
In overall good condition. The sheet is very brittle, and is affixed to the verso of the mat at upper left and upper right via two pieces of white mesh paper tape (covering old brown tape). The edges are even, save for a small dent noticeable verso along the right outer edge. Otherwise, we don't notice any loss. The sheet is only lightly toned, with mat staining around the image (only visible when the work is fully unframed). the sheet is slightly wrinkled, due to the nature of the paper itself. No sign of restoration. The fait line (squiggle) visible at center right, to the right of the figure, is in fact the see-through of charcoal used by the artist on the reverse. Additional images available upon request.
